Jennifer Hudson's family has set up a foundation for families of murder victims in memory of the actress' slain family members.

The Hudson-King Foundation for Families of Slain Victims has been named in honor of "Dreamgirls" star's mother, Darnell Hudson; brother, Jason Hudson; and nephew Julian King, People magazine reports.

The family said in a statement, "The specific purpose of the Foundation is to care for the needs of families who have lost relatives to a violent crime.

This encompasses their basic needs of food, clothing and shelter as well as grief counseling." The foundation was announced after a prayer vigil on Wednesday night in Chicago to mark the three murders.

Madonna has been sending estranged husband Guy Ritchie strange text messages. Guy, 40, showed some of the messages to the crew on his latest film "Sherlock Holmes" - which he is currently shooting in Manchester, England - and one of them is believed to have warned "you're going down." The director reportedly told a friend: "This is her idea of a joke - but it's not funny. Imagine what it was like living with her." Madonna, 50, has reportedly sent a host of similar texts to Guy since announcing their split two weeks ago, blaming him for leaking details of the breakdown in their marriage. Another source added to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "She loves to wind Guy up and this is just another example of her oddball humor. He doesn't take these things too seriously. If he did, it would drive him mad." It was reported Madonna made an emotional plea to Guy to settle their divorce out of court - the first direct contact she has had with the film director since they split - earlier this week. A source said: "Madonna tried to remind Guy of all the good times, said how they must settle before it got any more messy and public. She said she had been saddened by some of the criticisms of her which appeared to have come from his camp." Madonna and Guy's lawyers are still negotiating the details of the divorce, after the filmmaker reportedly turned down a £20 million [$32.4 million] settlement offer. The "RocknRolla" director insists his main concern is securing access to the children they raise together - Lourdes, 11, Rocco, eight and David Banda, three. The children are with Madonna on her "Sticky and Sweet" tour at the moment, but due to be reunited with Guy soon, although Madonna will reportedly not be at the handover.

We love Google's Gmail service, with its gigabytes (GB) of free storage and clean interface, and we also love keeping up with friends using the Google Talk chat service. The two have long been integrated, enabling you to chat in real-time from within the Gmail page, but now Google is adding another dimension: the ability to send SMS text messages to phones as you would to another person on Google Chat. You can now send a chat message to a mobile phone number and Google will send that message as an SMS to the recipient's phone, all without charging you a dime. The only catch is that the text will appear to come from some random number in the 406 area code, but Google is indicating it will associate that number with you uniquely, so that your friends can reply to that number and you'll get the text as a chat response. Google is currently rolling out the feature to Gmail users, and by the end of the day you should be able to enable it by clicking on "Settings" and then on "Labs" if you're so inclined. Of course, this is nothing new to AIM, Windows Live Messenger, and Yahoo! Messenger users, who have been able to send text messages to cell phones for several years now.

Heavily pregnant Ashlee Simpson wants all rooms she is in set at a constant icy temperature. The U.S. singer's husband, Fall Out Boy bass player Pete Wentz, says Ashlee feels so hot all the time she has to have all rooms set to 34 degrees Fahrenheit.

Pete, 29, said: "She's hot all the time. She's like, 'I wish I was in Canada right now.' Our room temperature is set to like, 34 degrees. It's insane!"

Ashlee, 24 - whose original due date was October 27th - could give birth any day, and while she is excited about the birth, she is finding everyday tasks a struggle because of her sizeable bump.

Pete added: "I am on call permanently right now. She's at the very end, and it could happen at any point. I think she wants to just be not pregnant anymore. It's a struggle to go up and down the stairs. Going out in public is insane."

Despite hints the couple are expecting a boy, Pete claims he and Ashlee never found out the gender. They have also decided to wait for the new arrival before they decide on a name.

He continued: "I want to meet the baby first, my friend said it best - you've got to have a baby with a name that could be a rock star or a senator, so he'll get work either way."

"The Edge of Love" actress stars in a gruesome new promo for British indie rock band The Hours' new track "See The Light," which was co-directed by renowned artist Damien Hirst. Sienna appears in bizarre scenes which begin with her wearing a hospital gown and appearing distressed while trying to find her way out of a clothing store. Later in the film, the 26-year-old blonde wanders into a room filled with dripping cow carcasses and proceeds to rub the blood all over her body, before uttering the line: "Death feels like the safest place for me right now." She later tries to cram herself into a glass cabinet and struggles through piles of high heel shoes. The band's frontman Ant Genn said: "It's a song about struggle and addiction and fear and darkness... And the video brings it to life. The song and the film work perfectly together." Earlier this month, Sienna revealed she was a huge fan of Hirst's work when she entered a pre-sale bid for a collection of his artwork - as well as pieces by Tracey Emin and Jonathan Yeo - which is set to go on sale in a special auction at London's Lazarides Gallery in December.

After signing the three year deal worth a rumoured £12million, Victoria posed for her first photo shoot yesterday and her posters and magazine ads will make their debut early in the new year.

One message said that Russell had intercourse with Sachs’ 23-year-old granddaughter Georgina Baillie. Ross then suggested Sachs might kill himself when he listened to the message.

Aspiring model Miss Baillie, who dances in a burlesque troop called Satanic Sluts, branded the presenters’ behavior "despicable". Baillie also admitted she had slept with Brand. Miss Bailie added that she felt "totally and utterly exposed and betrayed" by the calls.

Strip away all the side issues (and there are many, and they are important), and the essence of Sarah Palin is this: She is an extraordinarily gifted political performer. And she knows nothing — zippo — about the national and international issues with which any national political figure needs to be conversant. It is nothing short of astounding that Palin's supporters, according to Smith, point to the Katie Couric interview as something that was mishandled by the McCain forces. We all saw Palin babble about how Alaska's proximity to Russia has given her foreign-policy experience — a softball do-over from Couric, given that Palin had had time to think about it after answering Charlie Gibson's identical question the same idiotic way. We all saw that she couldn't even say what she reads, leading to the not-unreasonable conclusion that she doesn't. Which brings me to the latest on the increasingly public mud-slinging between the Palin and McCain camps, written up in loving detail by the Politico's Ben Smith. Given her freakish and unwarranted self-confidence, it's not surprising that she believes she could talk her way out of the mess she's in if only her handlers would let her. And given her long string of boneheaded (and worse) statements, it's not surprising that the McCainiacs just want her to shut up. If Barack Obama wins on Nov. 4, it's going to be a long winter for the Republican Party. Among the party's many problems is that Palin has signaled she intends to be a player. Given that she has what's left of the Republican base in her thrall, and that she is a huge negative among everyone else, Palin, for Democrats, may be the gift that keeps on giving.

Investigators searching for Jennifer Hudson’s missing seven-year-old nephew began receiving assistance from the FBI Saturday.

The Associated Press says that the FBI was asked to join the search effort because the young boy might have been taken out of Illinois.

And since she's both delicate and strong and can stand up against a powerful Tabu, she's being rightly cast. She'll be playing Arjun Rampal's wife and Tabu and Amitabh Bachchan's daughter-in-law in his upcoming film, 'The Legend of Kunal'. Now that's lots of praise for the young actress. Earlier this week, The Daily Show host Jon Stewart, performing at Northeastern University in Boston, criticized Governor and vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin for making divisive remarks, saying, "She said that small towns, that's the part of the country she really likes going to because that's the pro-America part of the country. You know, I just want to say to her, just very quickly: fuck you." Since then, a few more hobos hopped aboard the hate-America bandwagon -- Nancy Pfotenhauer insisted that Northern Virginia was not part of a "real Virginia" (despite being the economic driver of the entire state), and Michelle Bachmann (who is basically a nonsense-spewing twit whose electoral success is among the world's most enduring mysteries) went on Hardball to call for a Congress-wide witch hunt for people who didn't measure up to her standard of patriotism.

Early in the show, Stewart lambasted the general divisive sentiment that pits small towns against big cities, alluding to the fact that 9/11's "ground zero" happened to be godless and elite New York City and "Communist Country/Fake Virginia" Arlington County. But at the end of the show, Stewart went back to reference his remarks at Northeastern, to make his point more broadly.

Since her selection as John McCain's running mate, the Republican National Committee spent more than $150,000 on clothing and make-up for Gov. Sarah Palin, her husband, and even her infant son, it was reported on Tuesday evening. That entertaining scoop -- which came by way of Politico -- sent almost immediate reverberations through the presidential race. A statement from McCain headquarters released hours after the article bemoaned the triviality of the whole affair. "With all of the important issues facing the country right now, it's remarkable that we're spending time talking about pantsuits and blouses," said spokesperson Tracey Schmitt. "It was always the intent that the clothing go to a charitable purpose after the campaign." But even the most timid of Democrats are unlikely to heed this call for civility. For starters, the story has the potential to dampen enthusiasm among GOP activists and donors at a critical point in the presidential race. It also creates a huge PR headache for the McCain ticket as it seeks to make inroads among voters worried about the current economic crisis. Mainly, however, Democrats (in this scenario) are not prone to forgiveness. After all, it was during this same campaign cycle that Republicans belittled the $400 haircut that former Sen. John Edwards had paid for with his own campaign money (the funds were later reimbursed). And yet, the comparison to that once-dominant news story is hardly close: if Edwards had gotten one of his legendary haircuts every singe week, it would still take him 7.2 years to spend what Palin has spent. Palin has received the equivalent of $2,500 in clothes per day from places such as Saks Fifth Avenue (where RNC expenditures totaled nearly $50,000) and Neiman Marcus (where the governor had a $75,000 spree).

Supermodel Kate Moss was treated to a lap dance in a nightclub here by an unknown guy. Her rocker boyfriend Jamie Hince was nowhere to be seen.

A news website reports that Kate laughed the whole time the man danced on her lap and whispered in her ear. But others were shocked, especially when he dropped to his knees and rested his head on her lap.

"It was incredible. Everyone was looking at each other, wondering what the hell was going on - it was very risque to say the least," said one man.


But Kate was not bothered.

"From the moment she arrived, Kate seemed intent on having a good time. At one point she clambered on to a chair and started dancing like a woman possessed. But it was her raunchy antics which raised the most eyebrows - she was revelling in all the attention," added another witness.

The man, who gave Moss the lap dance, was later overheard saying: "She is absolutely gorgeous and great fun. She certainly knows how to have a good time."
