FHM editor says Veena’s nude shoot authentic

MUMBAI: Neck-deep is controversy, Actress Veena Malik Friday emphatically denied laying herself bare for an Indian magazine as well as sporting an acronym reading 'ISI' tattooed on her arm, while the magazine editor insists the shoot was for real, Geo News reported.

The December issue of FHM India flashed Veena in the buff on its cover, which triggering an outrage in Pakistan - both for her nudity and the reference to country’s intelligence agency.

Following the controversy Veena voiced a negation of her posing for the FHM, categorically saying the picture was 'morphed'.

'I have never posed nude. I have never done anything like that ever. My manager and legal team are looking into the matter. We will take legal action against them,' Veena told media.

On the other hand vowing to prove the photo's authenticity FHM India's editor, Kabeer Sharma, told Geo News said that they had not photoshopped or morphed her image adding it was for real.

“No one can hold anything against the FHM as the girl on the cover page was Veena Malik and she can’t deny it”, said Sharma.

"We have video footage of the shoot as well as emails from Veena about how she's looking forward to the cover," Kabeer said.

“We have nothing to do with this controversy”, added he.
He said to us it was a workaday shoot –business as usual.

Replying to a question, he said the ISI tattoo idea was mine but it was Veena who pressed us to make it look like as it appeared on the cover.
He said that the image was intended to be playful, saying that: "In India we joke about this... if anything goes wrong... we say the ISI must be behind this."
